Our Mission
In times of uncertainty and volatile geopolitics, New Alliances Foundation promotes international cooperation and innovative partnerships in response to emerging global security challenges, crises, and conflicts worldwide. The Foundation works to support defense initiatives and partnerships for European and NATO countries and their relations with other key allies.
We strive for forming new partnerships and collaborations for European Union and NATO to adapt to new realities and support their engagement with other governments, organizations and multilateral institutions. Our aim is to influence international actions towards stability and security in conflict zones, while navigating socio-economic, political, technological and security changes.
The Foundation works to deepen understanding of threats to international security and stability, providing informed foresight and insights, developing policy initiatives and strategic dialogues, and raising awareness through advocacy campaigns.
what we believe
We are driven by ideas of peace and international cooperation driven by rules and international law, where people and societies can freely prosper – ideas being challenged by geopolitical realities and the tech-arms race.
We realize that geopolitical shifts and international polarization have led to a securitized approach to foreign policy, reshaping engagement priorities, especially for EU and NATO. We believe in strengthening these institutions, and their relations with like-minded countries. We recognize their fragility, and work towards their resilience in turbulent times.
We believe that development and stabilization priorities are influenced, and will increasingly align with security objectives and that alliances based not just on shared values, but primarily on strategic interests will become essential. NAF aims to facilitate a deeper understanding of these priorities among nations.
We also advocate for reform within multilateral systems, based on the UN, to better address global challenges through strategic dialogue and forming new alliances. We believe that by fostering creativity, value and interest driven commitment, and building robust advocacy networks, we can empower organizations to navigate these challenges.
